About me
Welcome! I'm Leslie — I'm a garden mom, a dog mom, I collect piano music that I can hardly plunk out, and I am a glass artist.
Several years ago I was studying at an art academy and realized that my favorite assignments were the geometric color studies. I loved the abstract design format that allowed for strategic placement of color and white space.
Fast-forward to my first classes in glass work, and I found those same opportunities there, in the geometric composition and the use of clear glass. Clear glass was like the white space in those old color studies, but way better because it came in a variety of textures, patterns, and opacities.
This new-to-me medium seemed like a kindred spirit so I began collecting the tools to work on it at home, investing in equipment to turn my garage into a stained glass workshop. Starting with a single folding table for glass work, I added a separate soldering station (initially a piece of plywood balanced on a stack of storage bins), then a dedicated area for grinding glass edges, and shelving to store my growing glass supply.
It's been an exciting and revitalizing journey, and I can't wait to see what growth comes next for me and my art. Each piece in my collection is carefully—and joyfully—crafted with a fine eye for detail, and every item tells a story.
Thank you for your support.
